CAD Modeling

Turn your measurements into a CAD file

You know what the thing is and what its dimensions are. You need it as a model, and modeling it yourself is either something you can't do or something you don't have time for.

This is execution, not design: you supply the drawing, the sketch with numbers on it, or the specification, and we build it accurately as a proper model — not a shell that happens to look right.

The output is yours to use anywhere. An editable solid model can be changed later, by us or by anyone else; a mesh is the right answer when the next step is a printer.

Best fit

You already have the dimensions. A dimensioned drawing, a marked-up sketch, or a written spec is enough to start.

If the design decisions haven't been made yet — what shape it should be, whether it will work — that's Product Development. If the dimensions live in a physical object rather than on paper, that's Reverse Engineering.

What you get

  • An editable solid model, or a mesh, or both
  • Geometry built as real features, so it can be modified later
  • Any notes on ambiguities we found in the source drawing

What we need from you

  • Your drawings, sketches, or specification — this is the request, so something has to be attached
  • Which output format you need
  • Notes on anything the drawing doesn't say

How it works

  1. Send the drawing

Attach what you have and say which output you need. Two steps, and the second one is just how to reach you.

  2. We read it and follow up

Within 2–3 business days you get next steps. Drawings are ambiguous more often than not — if something is missing or contradicts itself, we ask before quoting rather than guessing and billing for the guess.

  3. Model it

The part is built to your dimensions as real, editable features, so whoever opens it next can change it.

  4. Check against the source

The model is measured back against your drawing to confirm the numbers landed where they should.

  5. Delivery

You get the file in the format you asked for.

Ready when you are.

Step one is a form. Nothing is committed by filling it in — we come back with scope and a price before any work starts.
